Now, credible media reports have it that the Cervo is all set to be launched this Diwali, replacing the iconic Maruti 800. According to a report by Economic Times, Cervo will be launched this Diwali, priced between 2-2.5 lakh. Although a senior official from Maruti Suzuki has confirmed that “the work on the car is going on and the company is planning to launch it before Diwali,” there is no guarantee that the new car is going to be in the same shape that you see in these pictures. However, we can assure you that there is something brewing in the Maruti plant and the cat will be out of the bag during the upcoming festive season.

Jaguar XKX Concept Car

The Jaguar XKX Concept Car designed by esign studio Skyrill. "The XKX Jaguar is a new generation electric roadster, aimed at pushing both performance and power efficiency to a new level. This concept tries to revive the glorious design lines of the brand, combining fresh solutions, a unique, new aerodynamics, tailored around the electrical elements of the power system as well as cutting-edge energy feedback. Given the fact that the XKX is an electric vehicle, the small dimensions of the engine and flexibility of placement of the battery help a lot with creating better aerodynamics. Air flow is sensibly favored by the large deflectors at the sides of the front intakes; large part of the air flows through them, exits where the door begins, after the front wheels and reenters in the rear intakes, to exit from the big pair of openings at the rear."

Frog eBike Concept Features Hubless Rear Wheel

Frog ebike is designed by Frog Design. This bike is designed to overcome to problems and the complex system we have with the fossil fuel powered motorcycles we know today. This ebike is less complicated, and the design can become more expressive. This is Inspired by this heritage of motorcycle design (including frog’s own 1985 frog FZ750 Rana concept), and the promise of new electric vehicle technologies. This ebike is replacing the traditional combustion engine and its related systems. The large mass of the combustion engine, formerly a defining feature of a motorcycles profile, is now a symbolic void.

The new electric motor’s copper coils moved inside a hubless rear wheel, at once streamlining the motorcycles composition and providing for a highly efficient and direct transmission of power. It has become an ergonomic affordance for the rider, a support underneath and in front of the rider hugging his or her bike at great speeds. This design element provides a continuous formal transition from the back of the seat to the front of the instrument cluster and down around the void, transforming into the new location for the bikes fuel: the batteries. The entire bottom chassis is dedicated to storing battery cells. This location lowers the bikes center of gravity, creating an extremely stable ride. Because the motorcycle’s speed is controlled directly by the power to the electric motor, virtually all other major mechanical components of a traditional motorcycle are no longer required. Fly-by-wire steering, full OLED digital instrument panel, full time connection to the cloud, and a helmet with heads-up display and retina tracking complete the trip into concept territory.

FB R2000S Motorcycle Concept

Designer Miroslav Hundak’s FB R2000S concept is almost based on the BMW R1200S, a Boxer model renowned for sporting performance and dynamic riding characteristics. The athletic look of the FB R2000S is contrasted with a particular touch of lightness in the form of not 2, but 3 hubless wheels with independent suspension and minimal fairings that in combination simply exude power and dynamism. Engineers will have their rightful criticisms, but there’s no denying that it looks fun to ride! [Source]
