Honda has officially opened bookings for its 
much awaited Amaze sedan throughout the country. The Honda dealerships 
are accepting bookings at an amount of Rs 21,000. The Amaze will be 
launched officially throughout India on April 11, 2013 and Honda has 
already started production of the model to ensure it has enough 
inventories to cater to the car’s demand.
Interestingly,
 all the pre-launch advertising that Honda is currently indulging in 
does not show much of the Amaze sedan – instead, it talks about the new 
diesel engine. The carmaker is strongly advertising the engine, its 
merits and the three important figures that it has to offer – 100 PS, 
200 Nm and 25.8 kmpl. Honda claims that the Amaze is the most fuel 
efficient diesel car in the country today. The Amaze will be available 
in petrol too, which will be powered by a 1.2-litre engine.
Speaking
 of which, Honda dealers who have partnered with OnCars tell us that the
 footfalls in showrooms have increased significantly after the 
announcement of the Amaze and the response for bookings has been 
overwhelming. Some dealers also say that they have a lot of returning 
customers who want to trade-in their older petrol Honda cars for the 
Amaze diesel. Honda Cars India is also said to be working on special 
loyalty bonuses and exchange schemes to attract more prospective buyers.

Amaze has really amazed the people by its magnificent looks,modish interior and fuel efficient engine.But the real USP is its high mileage.
